Staying Safe on Dear Bestie

Dear Bestie LLC

Last Updated: July 25, 2026

Your safety comes first. Every member is verified with a government photo ID and a live selfie, so the women you meet are real. Verification isn't a background check, and no app can guarantee how someone will behave. Please use good judgment, online and off.

Before you meet someone:

  • Chat in the app first and trust your instincts.
  • Meet in a public place, especially the first time.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going and when.
  • Arrange your own transportation there and back.
  • Don't share sensitive details, like financial info or your home address, with someone new.
  • Leave any situation that feels off. You never owe anyone your time.

Protecting the community:

  • Report and Block are available on every profile, message, circle and event.
  • We review reports and act on them, including removing or banning members.
  • For anything involving a child's safety, we report to NCMEC and cooperate with law enforcement.

If you're ever in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the U.S.). To reach us: hello@dearbestie.app
